By John Adams

The Forex Megadroid, an automated Forex trading robot, was created by two men whose names are Albert Perrie and John Grace. These two men created and designed the Forex Megadroid, incorporating their 40 combined years of experience with the Forex Trading Market. They created the megadroid to work in virtually any market condition. This automated trading robot was created by Albert Perrie and John Grace along with the help of Hector Lusting. This is a software robot designed to assist the Forex trader. The Forex Megadroid is essentially a research assistant that will work for you however long you require. Many traders agree that the automated Forex trading robots have revolutionized the entire market.

1. Brokers won't know that you have Forex Megadroid on your side - It might look like going against someone who's been working behind the scenes in the Forex field is equivalent to walking into a losing battle. After all, brokers essentially control your currency pair spread, and they even have the power to shut down your account. They probably won't pay any mind to ordinary Forex robots, but if they find out that the foreign exchange software program you're using is one that's really profitable, they could even prevent you from trading. The Forex Megadroid is one such profitable robot, and unscrupulous Forex brokers keep a wary eye out for them. This is why Forex Megadroid has been designed to be virtually untraceable to brokers.

One thing to consider is will the Forex Megadroid gain you profit when it comes down to the wire. The general consensus of the users of the megadroid is yes. It helps to gain the small incremental profits that are there to be gained on the Forex Market, that would otherwise be missed opportunities because of an absence from the market when you need to take time for the essential things in life, such as sleep.

Of course, when it comes down to it, Forex Megadroid essentially fulfills the role of a highly honest and competent Forex broker. If you manage to find one in the first place, of course. A good Forex broker would be able to help you lower your investment risks and succeed in the Forex marketplace.

It does this by taking into account past trades and then anticipating what the outcome will be in the next three to four hours. The megadroid claims to have a 95.82% accuracy rating, and customers are showing an increase in profits year after year. Forex owners claim that it does not take much more than five minutes to get the robot set up and begin trading. Customers can start getting involved with trading for as little as $1 with the list of growing Forex brokers because of the revolutionary Forex software. - 23806

Mortimer, Now Mickey

By James Pynn

It all started more than 80 years ago when two brothers took a chance. In 1923, Walt and Roy started an animation studio in Silverlake, a quaint neighborhood in sunny Los Angeles. They would call this home for the next 14 years, during which time their simple idea -- to make entertaining cartoons -- would change the face of popular culture forever.

The cultural shift began with a humble experiment that blended live-action and animated characters into a rollicking comedy. Known as the Alice Comedies, these early shorts soon garnered the attention of local and nationwide distributors. It was a bold move that put the fledgling studio on the collective map. But it was not enough to catapult Disney to the A-list.

Disney's ticket to the next level came in the form of a little mouse with white gloves. Though Walt is credited with the initial doodle that became Mickey Mouse -- the name was Lillian Disney's idea. Walt lobbied for Mortimer -- but Lillian thought Mickey was more approachable and cute.

But what's in a name? Whether it was the name or the unique style of animation, Mickey was a tremendous success. People could relate to his good intentions and his uncanny ability to deal with multiple stressors. His showcase feature, Steamboat Willie, was a consummate blend of adult themes that appealed to children as well. This would come to mark the Disney motif, which was so appealing it garnered an honorary Oscar in 1932.

To say that Mickey was was a cultural phenomenon is an understatement. And, of course, he was just a taste of things to come. The list movies that followed came to define the Great American Animated Canon. Movies like Snow White, Cinderella, and Bambi would become required for households across North America -- and the world. Of course, this kind of exposure and appeal come with a level of scrutiny and criticism. - 23806

Introduction On Tabla Drums

By Benedict Perez

In the rich culture of South Asian music, the tabla is a major accompanying percussion instrument. Its name is derived from the Arabic word tabl which simply means drum. The origin of the instrument is still debated but it is suggested to have evolved from existing drums such as the naqqara, pakhawaj and dholak from over 300 years ago. It is most commonly found in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

In its earlier evolutions, tabla is just one drum. It is just the dayan. It means right in Hindi and is named as how it is played - with the right hand. Its body is small and made of wood. The tabla we have today now includes the one played by the left hand called bayan, which is translated as left in Hindi. It is larger and is made of metal.

The head of the drum, called the puri, is made up of goat hide. An extra ring of hide is laid over the head as well as on the bottom of the drums. These rings hold the lacings, or tasma, on the side of the drums, which in turn control the tension and pitch of the drums through a number of wooden cylindrical blocks called ghatta. These are placed between the body and the lacings. There is a black circle in the middle of the drum heads called syahi made up of gum, soot and iron fillings. The syahi of the bayan is positioned closer to the side unlike the dayan's which is in the middle.

The characteristic bell-like timbre of the drums is made possible by the syahi. The tuning is different for each drum. The dayan is tuned to the tonic note of the vocalist or the instruments accompanying it. It has the higher pitch between the two. The bass tone of the instrument is produced by the larger bayan. The bayan's tune can be easily shifted with the position and pressure of the left wrist on the syahi. Thus it is not in monotone as in most percussion instruments and can cover a whole scale and also produce sliding notes.

Playing the tabla can be difficult to some percussionists as its principles are slightly different from the Western styles of music. The beats are conceptualized through mnemonic syllables called bol. To better understand and play it, one has to also understand the basic conceptualization of Indian rhythm.

Tabla can cover both melodic and rhythmic concepts in the Indian system. However, as in most percussion instruments, it is in the rhythm that it is mostly focused on. Just as the Western style has the beat, measure and cycle, so does the Indian style. The only main difference is that the latter focuses more on the cycle unlike the former which focuses on the measure and the beat. Timekeeping when playing the tabla is based on claps and waves. These claps and waves basically describe the measure of Indian music. It is important in the conceptualization and execution of the whole song as the other instruments also follow this rhythm as a guide. Thus the player can play in different syllables as long as the cycle remains constant.

When the rhythm and melody of the tabla are executed perfectly, it produces a rich and exotic sound that can stand on its own as a song but will also do very well when combined with vocals and other instruments. Learning to play may take time and dedication and will require a good understanding of Indian musical concepts but the fruit of it is rewarding to one's artistic satisfaction. - 23806

Different Meanings And Uses Of The Bodhran

By Benedict Perez

There is a musical instrument called "bodhran" which has a universal purpose. It is a skin tray which is very popular among the Celtics and countries like Ireland, Brittany, Cornwall, Scotland and Wales. This musical skin tray has been in use in many different ways for thousands of years. Bodhrans are suitable separating chaff from grain which is known as winnowing. Winnowing using the skin tray is still a practice in some third world countries such as Africa and India.

This musical instrument looks like a sieve to people who are not familiar with it. They see this type of drum as a simple skin tray. This musical instrument has multi-functions and can be a sieve when holes are punched in the skin. It has the appearance of a sifter for construction materials. As to its musical instrument category, this drum which is the favorite drum of the Irish people falls under the percussion type.

Bodhrans come in various sizes and designs. Most players prefer the smaller size for it is easier it is to carry along. The size of the bodhran ranges from fourteen to twenty-six inches to suit to the player's preference. Sound is produced by the use of the hand or by the tipper. The tipper, which is a double-headed stick, is held in one hand and often used for very fast and complex beats.

The name bodhran comes from the Irish word "bodhar" meaning deaf. It also known as the Irish or Celtic drum. The name can also mean as "tray", "thundered", "deafening", and "dull-sounding". It is otherwise known as a "frame drum" because of the way is created using soft wood that can be easily bent and animal skin as its frame cover. Bodhrans are functional as a working tool and a musical instrument at the same time.

Unlike most drums, it has a soft sound and often makes an impression of dullness. Drums are usually associated with beating and loud sound but not this type. It has a deep sound and may be played in various styles that is from the traditional Irish beat to the modern rhythm and even in your own personal style. The tapping on the skin or rim as well as the movement of the hands will give you variations in sounds.

The bodhran has reached its height of sophistication only in Ireland. This frame drum is used mostly for purely religious and cultural festivals. This musical instrument has also become an integral part of the musical entertainment of Ireland and other countries like Spain, France and the Basque country.

In Ireland, the bodhran is used in religious and cultural festivals such as "The Wren Hunt". The festivity is about the hunting for a wren which is done by groups of people wearing costumes with blackened faces and go bring on parade the captured bird from house to house. During the parade the frame drum plays while people sing the ceremonial song.

The designs of this type of musical instrument feature the cross, animals and birds, spiral and knotwork. The spiral represents the past, present and future and has become the symbol of eternal life. It represents the continuity of life passing through the process of death and rebirth. All the symbols carry significant meanings which are also symbolisms adapted for rituals or ceremonies using the bodhran. - 23806

What Lessons You Can Learn From The King Of Pop's Last Moon Walk

By Ziggy Maceren

One of the most famous dance steps of all time was the one popularized by Michael Jackson. Wikipedia gave meaning to this dance step as "a dance technique that presents the illusion of the dancer being pulled backwards while attempting to walk forward."

Looking at the dance and the definition behind it, I was able to see a moral lesson between Michael Jackson's final years of his life and his moon walk. Please take not that I have no intentions whatsoever to mock Michael Jackson, but only to illustrate the lessons we can learn from his life and his famous moon walk.

Considered to be the most successful entertainer of all time, Michael Jackson sold over 750 million records and won several major awards including 13 Grammies and 13 number one singles. All his lifetime earnings were estimated to be around $ 500 million and this does not even include his music catalog holdings which is rumored to be over a billion dollars worth.

Even though he had gained so much fame and fortune, which he achieved since he was young, the end part of his life was mostly filled with struggles of depression and of financial debts. Many would readily agree that his health further declined when he sequestered himself from his family, friends and financial woes. Millions of people have come to love him since he was young, but despite the outpouring of love, he died filled with loneliness, a broken heart and depression.

With the circumstances mentioned above, I want to refer to the King of Pop's end part of his life as his last moon walk, because, instead of showing maturity in his life as he grew older, he became more immature as he aged. Consequently, unlike the moon walk, which was only an illusion, the circumstances that happened in his life were very real. Below are three morals we can learn from the end part of Michael Jackson's life.

1.) Always live within your means - Despite earning millions of dollars every year, during the last years of his life it is said that Michael Jackson spends $ 20 to 30 million more than what he earns with his lavish lifestyle. As a result he was deeply in debt. Various people including a Bahrain sheik accused him of not paying what he owed them. He lost his well beloved Neverland Ranch. Although his assets outweigh his debt by an estimated $200 million U.S dollars, Michael Jackson died owing more than $ 400 million. While it is true that as a "star" he earned the right to live a lavish lifestyle because he deserved it, he should have lived well within his means and should have properly taken care of his finances. Because of his failure to do such, it further contributed to his depression.

2.) Trials abound and life is tough, so learn to face them - No matter how much success he had in his life, Michael Jackson, has never learned to face trials in his life. Whenever gets demoralized by problems, he would run away and instead use drugs, detach himself from reality or hide himself through plastic surgery. Once problem that worsened his life was when he was accused of child molestation. He became more withdrawn after it. In an article written for the Daily Mail, J Randy Taraborrelli has this to say about how Michael Jackson face problems, "He surrounded himself with children, animals and a false reality - so much so that he never learned how to cope in the real world. He never wanted to grow up, and his managers encouraged these eccentricities when they should have encouraged therapy."

3.) Fame and fortune does not equate joy and happiness - Yes, the King of Pop no doubt has achieved so much in his lifetime. So much that he broke records that he himself achieved, opened up racial barriers and reinvented the world of music. However, though he had these great successes and the love of millions, the final years of his life was marked with loneliness, unhappiness sadness, depression and the feeling of being unloved. He kept to himself, away from friends and family.

Michael Jackson's last moon walk bears so many morals in life. I could have said more but it is your turn to do your own analysis. I pray that in the event we will have to do our last moon walk here on earth, it would be much better than Michael Jackson's. - 23806
