Reviews Of Hit Movies

By Shelby Hunt

If you arrived to see film reviews skip down to read them. To find movie downloads do a search. You can find good results with by searching "Full Length Movie Downloads", "Download Full Movies" and "Online DVD Rental Services".

The Sea Shall Not Have Them: British bomber airplane is taken down into the sea throughout WW2 and a save try is made to resuce it. Cast includes Michael Redgrave, Dirk Bogarde, Anthony Steel, Nigel Patrick, Nigel Green, and Rachel Kempson. (91 minutes, 1954)

Bourder Incident: Well put together tale of the U.S. boarder patrol trying to stem the tide of the smuggling of immigrants across Texas-Mexico boundary. Cast includes Ricardo Montalban, George Murphy, Howard da Silva, and Charles McGraw. (92 minutes, 1949)

The Big Road: This movie is about a shy busboy who commits himself to a selfish nightclub singer. The film is abnormal (and oddly watchable), with extremely unorthodox roles for both Fonda and Ball. Cast includes Henry Fonda, Lucille Ball, Barton Mafamilye, Eugene Pallette, Agnes Moorehead, Sam Levene, Ray Collins, Hans Conried, and Ozzie Nelson. (88 minutes, 1942)

The Sea Hawk: Top of the line amalgamation with Flynn at his streaking best in venture on the high oceans. The film has a vigorous balance of piracy, romance, and swordplay, handsomely shot, and orchestrated with exciting Erich Wolfgang Komgold score. Cast includes Errol Flynn, Brenda Marshall, Claude Pours, Donald Crisp, Flora Robson, Alan Hale, Henry Daniell, Una O'Connor, Gilbert Roland, and Edgar Buchanan. (127 minutes, 1940)

Soapdish: Farcical comedy in reference to a soap opera monarch who's trailing her clutch--on the show, and her life. Field and Kline are a treat to watch playing larger than life characters, however Whoopi is trashed, Downey is miscast, and the script (by Robert Harling and Andrew Bergman) imagines "anxious" equals "funny." Cast includes Sally Field, Kevin Kline, Robert Downey, Jr., Cathy Moriarty, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Shue, Carrie Fisher, Garry Marshall, Teri Hatcher, Paul Johansson, Costas Mandylor, Stephen Nichols, Kathy Najimy, and Ben Stein. (95 minutes, 1991)

Eagle vs Shark: A festivity of life's oddballs, as mousy Lily sets her sights on self-fashioned macho guy Jarrod (Clement), who lives only to get revenge on the classmate who used to beat him up in high school. Cast includes Loren Horsley, Jemaine Clement, Brian Sergent, Rachel Home, Craig Chamber, and Joel Tobeck. (87 minutes, 2007)

Hog Wild: This film is a silly comedy in reference to humorous bikers who pester adolescents. Unsurprising, low-grade production aids from quality acting, particularly Rosato an incoherently mumbling clique leader called The Bull.Cast includes Ashley Judd, Todd Territory, Bentley Mitchum, Allison Dean, and Dorothy Lyman. Cast includes Michael Biehn, Patti D'Arbanville, .Tony Rosato, Angelo Rizacos, Martin Doyle, and Mati Craven. (80 minutes, 1980)

The Guru: Harmless comedy in reference to an Indian dance professor (Mistry) who comes to America desiring popularity and fortune in the movie industry. As an alternative, he lands a job in a porno film, is befriended by its gorgeous megastar (who's truly an "excellent gal" leading a triple life), then accidentally gets to be a star as the "expert of sex." Some ludicrous gags, a likable leading guy, and excellent joke performances by Graham and Tomei improve this choppy feel-good flick. Cast includes Cast includes Heather Graham, Marisa Tomei, Jimi Mistry, Michael McKean, Christine Baranski, Rob Morrow, Emil Marwa, Malachy McCourt, Ajay Naidu, and Anita Gillette. (91 minutes, 2003)

Good News: Vigorous redo of the 1920s collegiate musical (by DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson), given a new coat of varnish by screenwriters Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Lawford is Tait College's arrogant football idol, and Allyson is the clever gal who catches him on the bounce back. Vintage melodies contain "The Best Objects in Life are Free," "Just consider," and "Varsity Drag". New numbers contain "The French Lecture" and "Pass That Harmony Tube." Cast includes June Allyson, Peter Lawford, Patricia Marshall, Joan McCracken, Ray McDonald, Mel Torme, Donald MacBride, Tom Dugan, and Clinton Sundberg. (95 minutes, 1947)

Almost any film you can think of can be downloaded from a site online. Don't forget, search with terms like "Movie Trailer Downloads" and "Home Movie Rental" to find download sites. You can search "Music Movie Download" if the others don't help you. - 23806

Guitar Lessons: Improve Your Technical Skills

By Chris Harris

Would you like to be able to play the guitar really well? If your answer to this question is yes, then you must acknowledge the need to take guitar lessons. There are quite a few good reasons why you should consider taking guitar lessons, the most obvious of which is to improve your skills and make progress.

However, in order to have the guarantee that you will only be provided with quality information and online guitar lessons that really produce significant results, it is very important to separate the efficient, properly designed and administered websites from the rest and only stick with the ones that are reliable and can help you improve your guitar playing in the minimum of time, with the least of effort and most important, for less money.

But, you ask, what's the alternative? How can I learn to play the guitar if I don't get professional instruction? My answer is simple: "digital" or "online" guitar lessons provided by a professional guitarist with teaching experience.

If playing the guitar is something you love, you will probably feel the need to make some progress and become even better with the guitar. This is an achievable goal, provided you are able to set some definite tasks and goals, and measure your progress. The most efficient way to achieve all this is to take guitar lessons. They will give structure and focus to your learning, and help you make progress faster. Learning a little here and there may lead to some progress, but it will most likely be slow and scattered. When learning how to play the guitar is what you really wish for, guitar lessons are your best option.

By choosing to use only the lessons and tips of the major, highly reputed online guitar lesson-providing websites, you will ensure that you will be able to learn to play the guitar in an exciting, efficient and simple manner and that your efforts of learning how to play the guitar will pay off in the least of time. Especially if you are a complete novice at playing the guitar (and are not yet capable of evaluating the quality and efficiency of online guitar lessons you may come across), it is very important to stick with the ones offered by the best guitar learning online resources. By doing this, you will avoid wasting time and money with guitar lessons that don't produce the expected results.

No more wasting time and money commuting or trying to schedule your life around your instructor's schedule. Now you can practice with a professional whenever, wherever and for however long you wish. You could get professional guitar instruction at 2am if you wanted.

Furthermore, it is very important to establish a list of priorities of the things you want to learn and take guitar playing one step at a time. As an example, rushing in at learning advanced guitar playing techniques such as guitar tapping or harmonic picking without knowing the basics behind guitar playing (the basic chords, the most extensively utilized guitar scales) are very likely to get you nowhere.

The disadvantages of using digital or "online guitar lessons" are: none! With a cost typically less than 1% of a year's worth of in-person guitar instruction, money-back guarantee, experienced, professional instruction anytime, anywhere and for however long, no commuting, ongoing support for FREE, there really are no disadvantages. - 23806

Sex And The City - The Characters

By Lola Jasminia

If you're going to watch Sex And The City to try to figure out exactly what "style" the main character, Carrie Bradshaw, is, then forget it. Carrie has no set "Style" and you'll just drive yourself insane. As the most fashion-forward member of the group, Carrie's closet contains an eclectic mix of vintage, retro, Gap and haute couture. The mix is quite outrageous and extremely fun! Featuring Manolos almost constantly, Carrie also offers up a different signature fashion statement every season. Beginning with her nameplate necklace in season 1 and continuing on with flower pins, Fendi bags, gloves, hats.....

Samantha Jones, one of the Fab Four, is a high-powered, high-class public relations executive. And, as such, she needs to dress professionally during the day. Not toooo professionally, mind you. Her suits are an awesome mix of vivid colors that go wonderfully with her blond hair and show off her killer body.

Another of Carrie's dear friends, Miranda Hobbes, chooses to dress a little more professionally during the day. As an attorney, her position calls for smart, dark suits, and she wears them very well. She prefers sneakers and sweats on the weekends but in the evening, watch out! This redhead is a real knockout!

Charlotte York is perhaps the most prim and proper of the group. Her perfectly coordinated pastels reflect her Park Avenue lifestyle. Always crisp and refreshing, she sometimes appears grim in her fashion taste. But we all know the truth, don't we? Watch out Atlantic City!

As the Main Man on Sex And The City, Mr. Big is a successful New York businessman who prefers his Armani suits. And he wears them very well! We don't see Big in jeans or sweats. He's not that kind of guy. We see him in Black Armani, Black limos or....a bed!

I don't know how Miranda was able to resist Steve Brady for so long! Those beautiful blue eyes behind those glasses get me every time! Jeans and a T-shirt are his attire of choice and I think we only see him in a suit a couple of times throughout the whole series. In fact, the first suit he wears, Miranda has to buy for him!

The man who eventually captures Charlotte's heart, Harry Goldenblatt, is short, bald, very hairy and somewhat of a schlupp. But he's so lovable! As an attorney, he dresses in smart, professional suits during the day. But in the morning and on his days off, he much prefers his birthday suit!

And, finally, there's Smith. Samantha's man. Jerry Jerrod. As far as I'm concerned, this man is like the English Leather man...he can wear English Leather...or nothing at all! An aspiring actor when Sam meets him, she changes his name and uses a little of her PR magic to make him into one of the most sought after dishes in New York! - 23806

How To Benefit From Singing Lessons

By John Roberts

If you have a dream of becoming a singer then you will need to go through singing lessons. This is not just true for some people. Even if you have a talent, and you have a natural voice for singing you will still need to take some sort of singing lesson.

The main reason that singing lessons will help you is in the control of your voice. Many singers who are naturals do not have this control and therefore struggle hold notes and often have a poor range. You might have excellent pitch and tone to your voice, but if you cannot control it you cannot make a good career. The professional vocal coaching will help you to hold notes longer by giving you breathing exercises and other techniques.

The scales are another reason you should get singing lesson. Even if you have a good voice, you may be throwing your voice all over the scales, so learning the scales will help you control that part of your voice too. You will need to have absolute control of all aspects of your voice if you are to be great.

If you find that you are good at singing, but you do not want to do normal singing and want to do something like opera you will need to find a singing teacher that specializes in opera.

These exercises might include breathing, correct mouth movements, and certain postures and tips for how to approach notes and how to sing higher notes differently to lower notes. You need to understand and work on these methods to be a good singer.

Once you have started singing training you will be surprised at how quickly you improve and how much you learn about yourself and about how you sing. Being able to analyze your singing is the first step to being a good singer. Another thing that you will learn from taking lessons is how to add more personality and color to your songs instead of just reciting words in key. - 23806
