Her overwrought scene on the witness stand is not forgotten easily. Used as structure for later They Drive By Day, however more earnest in tone. Cast includes Paul Muni, Bette Davis, Eugene Pallette, and Margaret Lindsay. (90 minutes, 1935)

Eagle Eye: After an attack on a potential terrorist proves to be false, America finds that it is under attack by terrorist forces. This sets off a chain off events that seem inexplicable. It turns out that the central analysis computer has deemed the actions of the government as against the people. The computer is taking action.

Bulletproof Monk: Grub plays a friar who on no account ages when he wards an old scroll that acquires the secret of endless electricity although now it's time to find a replacement, and he imagines it might be youthful pickpocket Scott, of all individuals. Energetic and entertaining while it doesn't get too stupid; alas, visual effects take the place of authentic martial-crafts action most of the time. Co-produced by John Woo, and based on a comic magazine of the identical name. Cast includes Grub Yun-Fat, Seann William Scott, Jaime James Baron, Karel Roden, and Victoria Smurfit. (103 minutes, 2003)

Mac and Me: Sort of an E.T. copy in reference to Mac, an outer space being, and his plight in suburban L.A. It is more of a television advertisement than a film. There's a production number set in a McDonald's, and the alien subsists by slurping Coca-Cola. Cast includes Christine Ebersole, Jonathan Ward, Katrina Caspary, Lauren Stanley, and Jade Calegory. (93 minutes, 1988)

Absolute Power: A long time criminal on his final robbery stumbles into an incredible situation. He witnesses a rape-murder. What is even more incredible is that the murderer is none other than the President of the United States. Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, and Laura Linney all star in this movie. (1997 Action-Drama)

The Last Time: Nation bumpkin Ferder is moved to the N.Y. home outside of a business where sales exec. Keaton prides himself on his take-no-captives strategies. He mentors the ignorant newcomer and ends up in bed with his attractive spouse. There's more going on than meets the eye albeit the setup is permanently evident. Little-group stuff, however Keaton is excellent. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Brendan Fraser, Amber Valletta, Daniel Stem, Neal McDonough, and William Ragsdale. (96 minutes, 2007)
