One of the most critical steps in a filmmaker's career will be the day he decides to get a movie project financed. As an artist and creator of films, the financing aspect of movie making can be an extremely difficult problem to solve. How does one come into contact with a film financier who understands the business, and every conceivable problem that comes along with it? Are these people born into it?
