Teeth Whitening: Pros and Cons

By Gail Jones

Selecting teeth whitening products from the different teeth whitening products available on the market today can be very confusing. However, some of these teeth whitening products do not give the desired results.

If you asked the experts, they would tell you that the best method of teeth whitening is still obtainable through your dentist. Not only is it the best, but it is also the most effective and the quickest way to have whiter teeth.

However, not all people can afford the charges that come with such treatment. Another thing that hinders them from going to dentists is fear. It seems that in early childhood, dentists are one of the most feared professions and that children just do not want to have to go to them. This fear continues on into adult years.

Although dentists do not advise people to choose teeth whitening products, they all agree that most of these products are effective to some degree. According to many studies, most teeth whitening products can result in whiter teeth that can outlast any dentist-assisted procedure, if used according to the instructions.

An additional bonus that teeth whitening products have, is that they contain the same ingredients that are employed in professional whitening. Two of the active ingredients used in whitening teeth are hydrogen peroxide and carbamide. These two chemicals are also the ingredients present in some of the products that are sold in everyday grocery shops and chemists.

The only advantage that amateur teeth whitening products have over professional whitening is that they are much cheaper. Everyone who finds out about them can afford to add them to their list of basic shopping requirements.

Most of these products can be bought for $30 or less. Compare this to the $100 or more that you need to pay at the dentists. It will not surprise you that people prefer them over the high fees. Still, teeth whitening products are found to have some disadvantages. Some of these are:

1. Suitability. Sure, teeth whitening products cater for all types of teeth, however different people have different requirements. What some people find effective may not work for others. This is one of the problems that people will come across with these 'home' products.

Some people have sensitive teeth and gums and their reaction to these products will depend upon the suitability of the products to the persons using them. Another option would be to try out different products until you find the one that is suitable to you.

2. Strong Chemicals Used. You will not know what your reaction to any given product will be until you have tried it out. As you do not know how sensitive your teeth are, you will also not know what will happen when you start using the product. It is better to consult with your dentist first before choosing any product at all.

3. Tray may not fit. The tray put in your mouth does not exactly fit you, so there is a tendency that it may be either be too large or too small.

If it is too big, the preparation may not work so well. On the other hand, if it is too small, it could cause gum bleeding and other side effects that could cause bigger problems. Be sure that the teeth whitening precuts you choose are right for you. If none of them works, then maybe professional teeth whitening would be better for you. - 23806

Facts About The Transformers 2 Character Long Haul

By Michael Nielsen

The Transformers 2, subsequent to the triumph of Transformers, has created a buzz amid its admirers. ``Folks are looking forward to seeing what kinds of changes their most wanted characters that has in their appearances. One of the characters, Long Haul, has been reintroduced by way of a small amount of changes through the director of the movie, Michael Bay.

Two chief characters, the Autobots as well as Devastator, are the spotlight, where Devastator is the amalgamation of seven different characters. Long Haul is in point of fact the right leg of this mammoth character. He completes the Devastator to obtain the structure of a Caterpillar 773B dump truck. Michael Bay chose a temporary designer Josh Nizzi to design it. He seems to be a real fan of the creative character and that is why the new design resembles the old one.

The character of Long Haul is equally popular among adults as it is with kids in the form of a fighter cartoon. People are looking forward to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and are waiting eagerly to see the new persona of Long Haul. Long Haul's hidden psyche always strives for fighting instead of transferring stuff from here to there.

In Transformers 2, Long Haul thrashes about hard and in the end succeeds in discovering Megatron's leftovers. He then rejuvenates them, and afterwards turns out to be an imperative part of Devastator in conjunction with his other team assistants. It shows that Michael Bay has tried hard to present Long Haul and other characters of Devastators as sensible as possible.

Long Haul is not a new-fangled spirit. Thus, most of us already identify that he was the upshot of repercussion on earth. An exciting statement with reference to his creation is that he is powered by the power of the Creation Matrix along with an engineering material that had been stolen from the chief of Optimum Prime. That power as well helped him to become a strong part of Devastator.

Admirers of Long Haul look at this movie by keeping in mind that he is the head of the warriors. Despite the fact that, in the opening he was not intended for fighting but it was his internal sentiment and desires to fight as a team member of Devastator. Though you can see Long Haul merely as a dump truck that is sometimes green and sometimes purple in colour, it does play an important part in the building of the master robot and helps him fight elegantly and arrogantly at the same time.

Long Haul is renowned in Canada with the name Costo and Macigno in Italy, although initially he had a Japanese name (Long Haul). In 2007, he besides came up with the icon of crane in place of dump truck, nevertheless later it regained its entity. Though many other characters have been introduced in Transformers 2, but only few of them are coming up in Transformers 2 games, and Long Haul is one of them. This time, people have even high expectations of the film and even more with its characters for instance Long Haul, and every person knows that Michael Bay will unquestionably fill in all the holes that were left in Transformers. - 23806

Everything About Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen

By Michael Nielsen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a sequel of Transformers 2007, the first part. In both the versions, we watch the continuous fight of wicked doings of evil. Transformers 2 is an action packed film with a lot of new theatrical characters. The Decepticons, Autobots, and Humans all work as allies in the proceedings of the story.

The film is inculcated with drama, action, suspense, adventure, speculation, tragedy, grief and joy along with impressive characterisations and perfection of story. All the characters portray high degrees of vigorous activities. Just like Transformers 2007, we find here the goodies combating with the evils to save the world and humanity from the evil seizures.

Surprisingly, we see Megatron again in Transformers 2. One of the Constructions resurrects him. He comes to life in part 1 also with the help of a small robot: Construction. The difference in the story of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is that now the Decepticons are after Sam to get some information from him regarding the origin of the Transformers.

This information came to Sam in the shape of some imaginations that he gets from the remaining pieces of Allspark. Sam is shown attending a college to study astronomy. He is not with his girlfriend Mikaela as she is not able to go to the college due to financial reasons, and is doing a job at a motorcycle workshop. Sam has also got another human helping hand; Leo Spitz. Bumblebee will also be staying apart from Sam, which one can hardly speculate after watching the first part. He can't go with Sam to the college as any fresher is not allowed to park his car at the college.

The Autobots too have a fragile touch with the coming of a female Autobot Acree. Amongst the Decepticons, a new and very crucial theatrical character enters: the Fallen. It is the Fallen whose name is seen in the title of the film. We will cherish the movie with a series of Construction/ Devastators too.

With an attractive sound track by Linkin Park, the scenes make quite an impression. The scenes have been picturised at various locations, with Egypt being the most striking of all, where the final combat has been picturised. Other places are Bethlehem, Philadelphia, New Mexico, Tuscan International Airport, and Pennsylvania. IMAX cameras have been used to picturise the action scenes of the movie, which make it all the more impressive.

Special effects in this picture are worth watching. Factual F-16 Fighting Falcon has been used in the film to make it look appear life-like. Tank fire, which we see in the movie are also real. Enhanced designs of the robots have been used to make them look dreadful and frightening. Hasbro has engineered quite hard on the structure of the robots, both the Decepticons and the Autobots. This time the filmmakers have devoted more of the economy to the special effects of the movie.

The most interesting part of the movie is its battles. For elevated marketing of the film, its premier will be shown in Tokyo, Japan by the 8th of June 2009. After that, the movie will be released in UK and USA. - 23806

Big Whiskey - A DMB Tribute to Fellow Band Member

By Patrick Daniels

After a four year hiatus, Dave Matthews band has come back with their newest release, "Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King". This album is a departure from their earlier albums, to say the least.

The Dave Matthews Band, has been known for a more rocking sound then their contemporary counterparts such as Phish or Moe. This album takes a different turn towards areas that they have yet to visit. DMB breaks away from their early, main stream sound, and uses this album to expand on a more mature approach towards music and it's influences, while highlighting their departed friend and founding band member, LeRoi Moore.

Moore died in 2008 as a result of complications caused by an ATV accident. His role as saxophonist was taken up in the studio by Jeff Coffin. Many theorize the band came back together to make this album as a sort of tribute to Moore, and this is easily across the CD.

Their first track, "Funny the Way It Is, most resembles the old Dave Matthews Band sound and reflects on how the band dealt with the loss of Moore. Other show an influence from the bands time apart and working with others in the field, as well as their Louisiana recording experience with Rob Cavallo.

With a Delta Blues sound, along with New Orleans French Quarter influences this album show the bands ability to play, despite the loss of Moore.

Despite the new directions, fans will still get the same feeling from each new track. As with the previous albums, fans will surely be able to find the heart of their sound and will put "Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King" on the same high praise as "Under the Table and Dreaming" and "Crash". - 23806

By Michael Nielsen

There are rumours spreading among the transformers fans that Jazz is making a return in transformers: revenge of the fallen. As yet these are just rumours and there are no confirmed reports about this fact.

Jazz was in the initial transformers film and was torn apart by Megatron in the last battle. His pieces were given to Ratchet who could not fix him as his spark had washed out. Those who have seen the first transformers movie or have followed the small series or the comic they would simply remember Jazz. First Lieutenant Jazz is the smallest of the Autobots but is a happy go lucky kind of chap. He is also quite a conversationalist as compared to Ironhide and Prime. He may be the smallest robot but he does not run away from a fight. His only protest is that he gets stuck fighting with people who are closer to his size.

Now that transformers 2 is about to be released public is thinking if Jazz will be recreated and become visible in this film. Jazz transforms into a Pontiac Solstice and is the smallest and the talkative Autobot. He is brave and enters into battle with Megatron so that Bumblebee can escape. He gets hit by the Decepticons fusion gun and is distorted and gets killed. We know all this from the first movie and if he does returns in transformers 2 that will be something that the fans will enjoy.

Michael Bay says he seeped out bogus data concerning the revisit of Jazz in transformers 2. He says he made this to direct the fans lost in different queries. Well in the comic series Ratchet remake Jazz by the last of the 'All Spark'. At this instant the Pontiac Solstice returns is what we will find out in the movie premiere.

If Jazz does return in transformers 2 he is going to play a big role in it. He may end up getting killed in the final battle again. If Jazz does not return then that will be the end of Jazz. Who knows he may reappear in a later sequel. Remember there are ardent fans who just love the transformers.

There are lots of Jazz fans out there who will feel like seeing Jazz coming back. He is there in the comic book series so why ending him up in the movies.
