Browsing For A Terrific Movie? Check Out These Wonderful Movie Commentary

Never before has it been so wonderful to be a movie buff. Back in the day the only way that you could even view a movie was to visit the movie theater. Later on, videos came out and you could get a video at the store but the film that you wanted may have been out-of-stock and you still had to wait. You also needed to make sure that you avoided any late fees by making sure that you got the film back to the store on time. Now you can get the movies by mail, but it is still a waiting game.

Basic - While things go awry throughout an armed forces work out, base captain Daly brings in Travolta, the best interrogator he ever had, to question the surviving members of the squad, whose stories don't add up. In fact a whodunit, this film keeps us guessing, as a good intrigue should. Cast includes John Travolta, Connie Nielsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Giovanni Ribisi, Tim Daly, Roselyn Sanchez, and Harry Connick. (2003 minutes,'95)

Above the Law - This is Steven Segal's breakout film. He plays a Chicago Cop who takes matters into his own hands. As the title implies, he is 'above the law'. He uses his large body and martial arts skills to wreak destruction on the bad guys. Stars include Steven Segal, Pam Grier, and Sharon Stone. (1988 Action)

Say It Isn't So - Amiably un-ambitious Klein falls for the new hairdresser in town Graham. They have consensual sex and then Klein discovers that Graham is his sister. It is a full-blown flop. Cast includes Heather Graham, Chris Klein, Orlando Jones, Sally Field, Richard Jenkins, John Rothman, Brent Briscoe, and Sarah Silverman. (96 minutes,'88)

The In Laws - Everyone can relate to this uneasy situation. The in laws are coming and you just have to survive. Do not try this at home! Unrated version runs 93. Cast includes Peter Falk, Alan Arkin, Richard Libertini, and Nancy Dussault. (103 minutes,'64)

Believe in Me - Donovan moves to a tiny Oklahoma town in'64 to take a teaching job, although when he arrives he learns he's been assigned to coach the girls basketball team. What is more, the girls have no self respect and little help from the school. Genuine heartland account transcends above its familiar underdog recipe. Donovan and Mathis as his supportive spouse are first rate. Cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Samantha Mathis, Bruce Dem, Bob Gunton, Heather Matarazzo, Alicia Lagano, and Chris Ellis. (108 minutes, 2007)

Inferno - American returns to New York from school in Rome to research the gruesome death of his sibling, and finds "sinister moms" wreaking paranormal pandemonium on both sides of Atlantic. Surreal, hypnotic shocker by Italian terror genius Argento does not make much sense, but it has a lot of style. Cast includes Leigh McCloskey, Irene Marvel, Sacha Pitoeff, Daria Nicolodi, Eleonora Giorgi, Veronica Lazar, and Alida Valli. (107 minutes,'84)
