Cast includes Denzel Washington, Dorian Healey, Amanda Redman, Ocean Chapman, and Bruce Payne. (105 minutes, 1988)
Dante's Peak: Volcano expert Harry Dalton has ventured to the Pacific North to investigate unusual seismic activity in the region. Harry is surprised to find that Dante's Peak is threatening to have a spectacular eruption. He then must convince the politicians in the area that people must evacuate the area, or suffer the consequences, which will be catastrophic.
Life or Something Like It: Occupation-motivated Seattle Television journalist is informed by a road oracle that she has one week to live. A pragmatic cameraman tries to show her what life is seriously in regards to, even as an alluring job offer looms in NYC.
