Much Loved Animated Films From Pixar

By Micheal D Hunt

Children and adults both adore the movies from Pixar. Pixar has completed merely 10 feature films but every one of them has been a important and profit-making sensation. As of this day, the studio has earned twenty-two Academy Awards, four Golden Globes and three Grammy's. Pixar is one of the most critically celebrated film studios of all time.

The accomplishment of Pixar begins with "Toy Story" from 1995, where we follow the problems of a pet toy, Woody, the toy cowboy, as he must compete for attention with "Buzz Lightyear". The sequel, "Toy Story 2" came out in 1999.

In between the success of the "Toy Story" movies came "A Bug's Life" in the year 1998. This is the yarn of an ant name Flik who is resolute to save the food that the ant colony worked hard to store from some very voracious and ferocious grasshoppers.

"Monsters, Inc." came out in 2001. It is a charming account about the all of the monsters hiding under our kid's beds and in their closets at night, a bona fide classic.

The most commercially successful Pixar film to date came out in 2003. "Finding Nemo" grossed more than $800 million worldwide. "Finding Nemo" is a entertaining yarn about a little clown fish that gets divided from his father and taken away to settle in an aquarium in a dentist's office. The escapade begins when Nemo disappears and his dad travels the ocean to retrieve him.

Superhero's at their finest hour describes the remarkable movie "The Incredibles" from the year 2004. Mr. and Mrs. Parr, formerly known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl try to find happiness in the suburbs by raising a family and having average jobs under the government protection program. Can Elastigirl and the rest of the Incredible clan save Mr. Incredible when he is overpowered by the enticement of his past life.

Lightning McQueen, a red racecar, learns about being happy and triumphant from the town cars of Radiator Springs in the movie "Cars" from 2006. Remy the rat follows his dreams of being a cook in a fine French restaurant in "Ratatouille" from 2007, and the final robot left inhabiting the planet searches for love in "Wall-E" from 2008.

And what is predicted to be the very top Pixar movie yet, "Up" from 2009. Maybe we can accomplish our lifelong dreams, no matter our age. An old man makes his lifelong dreams come true with some willpower and perseverance. - 23806
